Traveling is my addiction and helping people is passion. I want to see the wolrd, meet interesting people, try new things, take chances, explore, learn and share my experiences with the world while helping as many people as I can along the way. I am extremelly passionate about helping people and I want to spend my life inspiring others to want to take action and help others in need as well. I truly believe that if we work together and have compassion and understanding for every living being, we can change the world!

Discovering My Roots

Another school year is done, and I'm off to Italy tomorrow. It still hasn't fully hit me yet! I'll be spending the next month in Italy first in Rome, then exploring various cities throughout Sicily. I'll be taking this adventure with my mom and boyfriend. My mom was born in Palermo, Sicily and hasn't been back since she moved to Canada when she was a young girl. I'm really excited for her because I know she has been waiting for the day when she will go back to the place she came from. I'm excited to see where she grew up and meet relatives I've only heard about. So, the plan is to first stay in Rome for a few days with a friend. After that, we fly to Catania to pick up our rental car and drive for a week through Sicily, exploring all the wonderful places, and ending in Palermo. I have abandoned this blog for the last few months, and I feel horrible about it. I am currently facing the overwhelming inner battle of "what do I want to do with my life?" It's not that I feel that I have no interests or goals, in fact, it's the very opposite. I have so many interests and things that I want to accomplish that I feel slightly overwhelmed. Actually, that is an understatement. I feel like I have been buried underneath a mass of thoughts, and no matter how much I kick and scream, I can't seem to get out! Even when I am doing things that make me happy and accomplishing goals that I have set for myself, I feel like it's not enough; that I need to move on.
